Dear ZAGBA Community,
Due to an overwhelming response from our enthusiastic community, in the past week we, the ZAGBA Board have been struggling to get a new venue for the March 25th Navroze/Nowruz Event. We finally succeeded in booking a new Venue.
Please note, that now the March 25th Navroze/Nowruz Event WILL NOT BE HELD at the Sharon Community Center.
Instead the event will now be held at the:
Saint James Armenian Apostolic Church
465 Mount Auburn Street
Watertown, MA 02472
Saint James Armenian Apostolic Church Parking: There is parking lot right at the venue which can accommodate 22 cars. Another additional parking lot is diagonally opp. to the Church(if you are facing the church, it is behind you to your left, or if you are coming on Mt. Auburn St., and the church(its a large property) falls on your right, then this additional parking lot will be a few yards ahead of the church, diagonally opp. to it. Also, there are several spots available on the street, provided you park in legal spots. (a Cop will be making rounds, we are told). Please store this parking information in your car/phone, as it will not be on the EVITE (We can only type in a limited number of words on an EVITE).
Updated EVITE will be sent: Please note that we will send an updated EVITE with the new address mentioned above. This is not a new EVITE, so do not RSVP again, if you have already done so. All those who have already sent their RSVPs are all set, provided your checks are in. The EVITE is now open to all those who need to RSVP and the cut off date is still March 7, 2017. So all of you who were on the Wait List, or who could not RSVP last time, please do so now.
If your response is going to be a Maybe, then please do not RSVP until you are sure it is a Yes. (but before March 7th).
To all those who have RSVP’d and not mentioned your kid’s ages, please do so.
Your Payments: If your checks are not received by March 7th, then even if you are on the EVITE, your registration will not be considered complete. This will be enforced, to be fair to all. No Exceptions.
Please make sure that your 2 separate checks, (i) Annual Membership & (ii) Dinner dues are sent to our Treasurer.

Dear ZAGBA Community,
We have now closed the Evite, as we have reached full capacity.
Please read the instructions in this email and the one below on sending your checks by
March 7th, 2017.
If your checks are not received by
March 7th, then even if you are on the Evite list(within the 135 cutoff), your registration will not be considered complete. The Board will then put the people on the “Wait List”, in your place and you will lose your registration. This will be enforced, to be fair to all.
So a message to all the families who have already put their names on the ZAGBA Evite for the Navroze/Nowruz function, please make sure that your 2 separate checks, (i) Membership & (ii) Dinner dues are sent to our Treasurer. (I have copied all the details on payment again for you below).
Also, many of you have not specified the ages of your kids. Please make sure, we have them on the Evite & Checks.
Wait List: For those who still want to come and got late in sending their RSVP, please inform ZAGBA’s Secretary, Yasmin Bhumgara at
Bostonzagba@gmail.com, by way of a new email (please don’t hit reply to this one and send us a fresh email).
Yasmin is maintaining a Wait List and will put your name on it, and will inform you just incase a guest cancels their RSVP, or fails to make their payment on time. This Wait List will be in order of emails received by Yasmin. First come First serve basis, only. No exceptions.
Please note that by sending your name for the Wait List,
it does not confirm your reservation to the Navroze/Nowruz function
on March 25th, unless ZAGBA confirms it for you by email.
This old ‘hotmail’ email does not exist: We recently found out that some of you still have in your contacts, this old hotmail email:
zagba@hotmail.com. Please make sure that you remove this address from your address book. Even if the Evite for some reason shows this email(which it shouldn’t), ignore it.

*Late Fee: ZAGBA will charge $5.00 per person in all categories if your payment is not postmarked by 03/07/17.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds for any requests received by 03/07/17. No refunds after this date.
IMPORTANT: The registration cutoff date is Tuesday, March 7th.
In your RSVPs please let us know the age of each of your kids.
This is the first event of the 2017-2018 membership year. Please make sure you send in your membership dues along with the Navroze/Nowruz event money.

ZAGBA Membership rates for March 2017-18
$75 for family
$40 for individual
$25 for full-time student
$25 for individual senior (65 and above. For a couple who are both seniors, please pay $50)
Please mail your event and membership payments (SEPARATE CHECKS by March 7th.
