As you all know from previous emails and Evite, we have organized a community trip to ZAGNY’s Dar-e-Mehr Zoroastrian Temple, located in Suffern, NY on September 16th.
THE EVITE IS NOW CLOSED FOR THOSE WHO WANTED TO COME BY BUS. WE HAVE REACHED FULL CAPACITY.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY MORE RSVPs OR REQUESTS FOR BUS, AS THE SEATS ARE ALL RESERVED. HOWEVER, IF YOU DON’T SEND THE CHECK FOR YOUR BUS RESERVATION BY SEPT. 8, YOUR SEAT(S) WILL BE ASSIGNED TO NEXT PERSON ON THE WAITING LIST, (TO BE FAIR TO ALL).
COMING ON YOUR OWN OR BY CAR? You can still come on your own.
To all of you who have not sent in their RSVP, since the Evite is now closed, you can’t RSVP there, but if you still want to come on your own, please email Yasmin (see email address below) and inform her how many of you (Adults + kids) will be coming, and send your checks to Kaio Dotivala.
This is so that we have a proper total count of people to send to ZAGNY. So please inform us if you are coming by car.
More Details:
ZAGBA has chartered a Peter Pan bus. The journey will be non-stop both ways. This is not an overnight trip and we will be returning the same day.
There is an on-board restroom (towards the rear of the coach).
See all details below. Please plan to arrive at the Riverside Station in Newton by 7:30 AM, so that you have sufficient time to park your car, walk to the bus and to get to your seat. The bus will leave exactly at 8 AM. No exceptions. In all prior emails regarding this trip, we have reiterated that everyone needs to be on time. Please treat this trip just like you arrive on time for a flight or a train/bus for your personal trips. The bus driver works on Peter Pan schedule and is instructed to leave on time; hence, the bus will not wait for anyone, even if you are a couple of minutes away.
Estimated time for the bus trip is 3 hours without traffic.

- September 16-NY’s Dar-e-Mehr Trip: On popular demand, we are again organizing a trip to NY’s Dar-e-Mehr. The Evite will be going out in August. We will be taking this trip by bus and for those who want to travel by their car, can meet the ZAGBA group straight at the Dar-e-Mehr. ZAGBA has already booked a bus again for this year and as most of you know from last year’s trip, the seats on the bus are limited to approx. 50-52 seats. So reservations will be strictly on first come basis (no favors), and hence with respect to your responses, please make sure you RSVP straight on the Evite in a timely manner. Sending your RSVP to ZAGBA by email or telling a board member will not be counted as an RSVP. It has to be on the Evite. Families with young kids, please note that if coming by bus, this trip is only for kids 4 years and above.
