WZCC PRESENTS
AN ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM
FOR YOUTH 5 – 18 YEARS BY
SPARK BUSINESS ACADEMY
WZCC–New York (NY) Chapter is pleased to announce its new initiative to bring Spark Business Academy to our Dar-e-Mehr and introduce our youth to the concept of entrepreneurship through a three-day program in financial education. WZCC-NY Chapter is the first Chapter to offer such an innovative program. Success here will allow WZCC to spread the initiative to other Chapters around the globe for the benefit of our youth.
Entrepreneurship is not taught in school, although children as young as 5 years engage in enterprising efforts like selling girl-scout cookies or setting up a lemonade stand, making it critical to develop financial literacy in our youth from an early age. Spark Business Academy does just that through their programs and activities tailored for different age groups starting at 5-9 years old.
Spark Business Academy (www.sparkbusinessacademy.com) will present a three-day program at our Dar-e-Mehr this summer from July 10-12.
To learn more about the program, curriculum and costs, please download the Sparks Brochure
Parents are welcome to attend, so long as their presence will not be a distraction for their child. Lunch and snacks will be provided, courtesy of WZCC-NY Chapter.
