Service on Zoroastrianism at the Winchester Unitarian Church

Last Sunday, 20th August 2017, Dr. Zareen Karani Araoz was invited to conduct the entire Service on Zoroastrianism at the Winchester Unitarian Church.
The Service was very well received. The focus of the sermon was: Happiness to those, who bring Happiness to others. There were Readings on the Law of Asha, read by Phyllis Preston, and pieces on the meaning of Fire in Zoroastrianism, read by Asst.Minister Deb Morgan-Bennett.
The choir sang Chayye Hame Zarthushti, conducted and accompanied on the piano by thee Music Director John Kramer. John also played a Monajat. There was a silent meditation after Zareen recited the Ashem Vohu.
The Service ended with the Hamazor greeting and hand sliding among all. The sermon included a background of our religion, the philosophical and ethical concepts of Zoroastrianism, our tenets and beliefs, and were explained in a powerful, but lucid way.
