Dear ZAGBA Community:

It is our pleasure to invite you and your family & friends to the 2018 Annual Jashan and Gahambar Celebrations (Jashan ceremony followed by Dinner).

We will start the Jashan promptly at 4:40 PM. Please be mindful of the time and plan to arrive by 4:30 pm to minimize disruption during the prayer ceremony. Also, please remember to bring your scarves/prayer caps for the Jashan.

WHERE: Temple Shalom Emeth, 16 Lexington St., Burlington, MA 01803.

WHEN: Saturday October 13, 2018

TIME: 4:30 pm to 10 pm

MENU:

Apps: Kebabs, Chips, Water.

Dinner: Chicken Dhansak and a veg side dish to be catered by the Modys. (For younger kids, we will have plain yellow Dal/Rice.). There will be Dessert for all (lagan-nu-custard, ice-cream for kids).

SPECIAL NOTE: Please inform us if you are vegetarian or have any food allergies.  For those familiar with Dhansak, it usually is gluten free.

DUES:

Adults + Seniors: $22/per person

Students + Children (5 yrs and above): $12/per child or student

Children 4 and under: Free

In your RSVPs please mention if your child is 4 years or under, so as to not be charged.

IMPORTANT:  The registration cutoff date is Wednesday, October 6, 2018. (We need your cooperation in sending us prompt responses by October 6, as we need a close estimate for dinner preparations).

LATE FEE*:  ZAGBA will charge $5.00 per person if your payment is not postmarked by October 6, 2018. (*Board to strictly enforce this)

We are pleased to inform you that you have a couple of options to pay:

Option 1: Paypal: PREFERRED!

Please use paypal and send payment to treasurer.zagba@gmail.com in paypal. There is NO fee charged to you for this and its what the board encourages you to do. The process is much faster and its easier for us to keep track of as well.

  • Go to paypal.com and login with your paypal account.
  • Choose Send or Request Money and then Send Money
  • In the text box enter treasurer.zagba@gmail.com
  • Enter the amount and then Sending to a friend option.
  • Add a note explaining # of people, kids ages etc.. if necessary
  • Click Continue and choose How you want to pay. Paypal balance or Bank debit is better for you as you are not charged any fee in that case.
  • Click Next and then Send payment Now.
  • Thats IT!!!!
